Panasonic KX-TGA571S 5.8 GHz FHSS GigaRange Expandable Digital Cordless Handset

Product Details

Designed to be used with KX-TG5700 series telephone systems, the Panasonic KX-TGA571S digital cordless handset uses 5.8 GHz frequency-hopping spread spectrum technology for added clarity and a stronger connection. Because it uses the 5.8 GHz frequency, the handset operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than the 2.4 GHz technology. The result is greater security, incredible clarity, and longer range. Have a wireless computer network, or thinking about getting one? The phone system's 5.8 GHz technology will not interfere with wireless networks such as 802.11b or 802.11g WiFi.

Add Images to Your Calls
The cordless handset is designed around a 1.5-inch backlit LCD screen, providing space for images that you can upload to the phone via its USB port. This set includes a single handset, but the system is expandable to a total of eight handsets.

Put the Phone Down While You Talk
When you've been on hold for 10 minutes, do you really need to hold the phone? Not with the handset speakerphone. Just lis10 along, and press a button or pick up when it's convenient. You'll think up other great uses, like letting Grandma and Grandpa lis10 to their new grandchild at the same time, painting your nails as you talk to your best friend, or just being able to set the phone down while you talk.

Great Phone - M. Reiner - Chicago, IL USA
I picked up this phone specifically for use with the Skype VoIP system that Panasonic makes (requires a base station and the USB transceiver). This phone works very well and I have been very happy with its performance thus far.
